On your calendars! This year, Black Friday will take place from Friday, November 25, 2022 to Monday, November 28, 2022. A little historical reminder: Black Friday, also called “Black Friday” in French, is a commercial holiday that was born in the United States in the 1950s. The day after the famous Thanksgiving which takes place each year on the fourth Thursday of the month of November, merchants offered exclusive discounts for 24 hours only. Now international in scope, Black Friday arrived in France in 2013 with e-commerce giants such as Amazon. Note that there have been a few small changes over the years: the event no longer lasts just 24 hours but rather several days. With some merchants, you may therefore be entitled to exclusive reductions during Black Friday Week (a few days before Friday 25) on the occasion of Black Friday Weekend, from Friday to Monday but also during Cyber Monday which marks the last day to benefit from good deals. In short, a long-awaited sales period like the French Days, the French equivalent created by the country’s e-tailers (Boulanger, La Redoute, Fnac-Darty, etc.) which take place twice a year, in the spring and at the start of September.

This year, Cyber Monday will take place on November 28, 2022, from midnight to midnight. This is the last 24 hours to take advantage of good deals and have fun without blowing your budget.
