Established for seven years in Vernon (Eure)Michaël Lestarquit made his hair salon a truly institution. Imagin’hair has become the meeting place unavoidable of the bikers with long beards, but not only.

Because in his living room, we pamper customers with traditional techniques :

“We work the beard the old-fashioned way with a hot towel and massage oil to prepare the skin. We use single-use blades, we take the time to groom the beard well, and then we use after-shave care. »

During these three-quarters of an hour of treatment, the client lies on a real barber’s chair, oldfor more than comfort.

Traditional methods

After making a name for himself in Vernon, the barber and his partner, Marion Nicaise, decided to start a new challenge : retype a trailer to make it a barber shop on wheels.

“I am passionate about motorcycling and I spend a lot of time in rallies. The beard goes a little hand in hand with the biker spirit. I thought we could reach a wider audience.

Throughout the winter, the barber therefore refurbished his trailer to be able to make it a place welcoming and warm. “I made my first trip in May to Bréval during a gathering of motorbikes,” he relates.

A complement

Even if he appreciates this new work tool, he assures that it will not replace his Imagin’hair salon:

“It’s an extra, on weekends, because I like it, but I’m not going to transfer all my activity to this trailer. »

And the barber does not see himself criss-crossing the country roads with its trailer to intervene in villages without trade. “I am not a traveling trader. I can’t afford to leave my living room during the week,” he admits. On the other hand, you may find Michaël and his razors at local festivals, at motorcycle gatherings and why not, for private events.

While waiting for its next shipment, the trailer remains in the parking lot of the hairdressing salon, which arouses the curiosity of customers: “We are asked what we are doing with this trailer. So we decided to organize an open day so that men could take advantage of care in this new environment,” explains Marion Nicaise.

Customers will also (re)discover the brand’s stand Sister pullets, partner of the hair salon. Rock’n’roll clothes that correspond to the identity of the show.

If you want to have your beard trimmed in the open air, meet on Saturday October 8 in front of the Imagin’hair salon, 1, chemin du Virolet. Cost of treatments: between 17 and 22 euros.
