A 400 m² aesthetic clinic has been hidden since May 2022 close to Place Bellecour, in the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon (Rhône).
Maison Yokō, founded by four physicians and surgeons from Lyon, wants to be open to “everyman and lady” and devoid of a “superfluous, commercial image that is sometimes attributed to this type of establishment”.
“The future of aesthetics”
Alexandre Mertens is one of the four founders of the project, born at the end of the first confinement linked to health measures against Covid-19. Dissatisfied with the “values and clichés that surround the field” of medicine and cosmetic surgery, the doctors decided to bring to Lyon “a new, more human, more scientific, more true look”.
On the program: “A scientific approach, scientifically proven techniques, applied by care professionals, with respect for the individual and their privacy while breaking codes with a creative, artistic side. »
The reconstructive plastic surgeon specializing in aesthetic medicine relies on his team of professionals and on “benevolent and humane” support to seduce patients “without doing reality TV”.
For Alexandre Mertens, their “innovative concept” corresponds to the “future of aesthetics”. “It is the first place where there is a meeting of doctors and surgeons with such a strong team dynamic that patients can benefit from throughout their care journey. This medical and benevolent side, we do not find it elsewhere, ”promises the surgeon.
“Our patients go home with a real visible result”
Pierre-Luc Vincent, associate plastic surgeon, praises “the comprehensive care” offered by Maison Yokō in Lyon. “The fact that we have come together allows us to open bridges and offer comprehensive care that goes from the dietician to the plastic surgeon”.
Doctor Mertens indicates that the average basket varies widely depending on the treatment, “from free advice to technical treatments from €100 up to €1,000, including products at €20, for example”.
Today, skin care, injections can really bring benefit. I take care of people from very diverse backgrounds who take care of their appearance. We have spectacular care, people go home with a real visible result, a real improvement in their problem.
Skin care, anti-aging, laser, dental office, skin surgery and even, soon, hair implantation. “We have a large menu, but above all, we offer personalized care,” says Dr. Mertens.
