Batch. In Montcuq, the “Diffusion Coiffure” salon is back enlarged with more services

A new stage has just been written, at the hair salon of Montcuq in the Batch “Diffusion Coiffure”, located at 37, boulevard Chapou.

After 9 months of work, during which the show temporarily moved to the former Montcuq medical office, the living room has expandedwith upstairs a beauty salon. Since the beginning of October 2022, it is now called “Diffusion Coiffure et Esthétique”.

Martine Bord, hairdresser for 29 years

The manager, Martine Bord has worked at the salon for 29 years, and has been the manager for 25 years, having worked with the former manager, Philippe Pujo, who left the family business in 2009.

Martine Bord is proud of her new refurbished living room with large bay windows, giving access to the Montcuquoise countryside and the village. New seats have been acquired, more comfortable, including two massagers, for the shampoo. In this brighter space, Martine Bord continues to use René Furterer and Schwarzkopf products, on sale at the show. She works with two employees.

Beautician Amélie Bord joins the salon

For the aesthetic part, which is the novelty resulting from this extension, Martine Bord joined forces with her daughter, Amélie, beautician, who was employed in Cahors for 10-11 years. With two cabins upstairs and one for people with reduced mobility on the ground floor, it is a very complete aesthetic salon, with several services offered.

From November 2021, she trained as a nail technician. Amélie Bord offers a nail service, but also foot care. A steam hammam is installed and can be used, alone or in duo. It offers waxing, relaxing massages, slimming massages, Japanese massages, facial treatments, Moroccan-style treatments, with black soap and kassa glove… A shower is installed for rinsing.

Amélie Bord also practices lymphatic drainage, where she works on the lymph nodes, promoting the elimination of waste. With a TV and a clean waiting room, the beauty salon is isolated, allowing you to benefit from a quiet place, while enjoying the view.

Amélie Bord uses ALS make-up and products from the French brand Thalican, based on active ingredients from algae from the Iroise Sea.

Amélie Bord, on request, can do beauty treatments at the nearby Retirement Home. She works on both women and men, children and adolescents. The two cabins allow it to work for couples or families.

Each, mother and daughter, works independently. Both say they are satisfied with their first three weeks of operation, together. Customers are also satisfied with the revival of the salon, which is sleek and very “classy”. The union between hairstyle and aesthetics can be useful for weddings.
