Céline DESOOMER, Shiatsu specialist, has taken up residence since October 1st in the already renowned osteopathy practice of Véréna GANSER and Aurélie MOLINARI, in the city center, set back from rue Charles De Gaulle.

La Picarde had warned her spouse of Lorraine origin: “If we settle in your region, it is I who will choose the city”. Never mind: Monsieur accepted the deal and the Vosges mountains did the rest in Madame’s heart. After several years of experience in her first job (nurse), then in the practice of traditional Chinese medicine in her own practice since 2012, Céline DESOOMER decided to settle down in the Pearl of the Vosges and bring his skills in Shiatsu, Qi Gong and plantar reflexology.

Céline DESOOMER encountered traditional Chinese medicine in high school, then, through personal experiences, became interested in it in more detail. After several years of practice in nursing, she decided to go further in supporting patients, particularly those suffering from chronic pathologies, thanks to the techniques of this alternative medicine based on energy points. Based on pressure points, suction cups and moxaa (hot sticks on acupuncture points), it restores balance and well-being to the body, and not only.
Very involved and at the forefront in her specialty, she is also Director of the Institute of Traditional Chinese Manual Therapy (ITMTC) which she hopes, in the long term, to benefit the territory of Hautes-Vosges.
Values and a common project.
The establishment of Céline DESOOMER in Gérardmer is due to a fortuitous meeting with Véréna GANSER. The two practitioners naturally found each other in terms of values, therapeutic approaches and patient care plan. Very quickly, the complementarity of practices became obvious to her, and this is how the Shiatsu specialist settled in the osteopathy practice, to the great satisfaction of the many Gérômois who had already come to meet her.
