Morgane Langlois was elected Miss Small Beauty Normandy 2022. The young woman, who lives in the canton of Lyons-la-Forêt, wants to take advantage of her crown to encourage people to see beauty differently.

With her meter sixty, Morgane would never have thought of winning a beauty contest one day. And yet, the values conveyed by Miss Small Beauty, which she discovered on social networks, encouraged her to register. “This competition, organized by the Dimselle association, is open to all women under 1.70 m aged between 18 and 30 years old. It does not matter if they are thin or round, tattooed or not, whether they are married, have children or are single.describes Morgane, 23, who lives near Lyons-la-Forêt.
Open-mindedness
The beauty of women represented by all women. An open-mindedness that pleased Morgane, who therefore signed up to represent Normandy. A file had to be completed to get to know the young woman better, an early childhood relay facilitator with the community of communes in Pont-Saint-Pierre and early childhood reception officer at the Perriers-sur-Andelle drop-in daycare centre. “We had to submit photos and donate to a cause that is close to our hearts. For me, it is about social inclusion from an early age”she says.
The verdict fell on September 3, 2022. Among the three candidates still in the running, Morgane won the crown of Miss Small Beauty Normandy.
National competition on November 26
More than a competition, Morgane has gained great self-confidence. “I don’t like to put myself forward, to speak in public. Thanks to this prize, I have the impression of opening up to others, of asserting myself. I dare to speak smiled the winner. And the listening we give her today, she wants to use it wisely: “I want to tell women to stay themselves, not to try to fit into a mould, to assume themselves as they are and above all, to dare to embark on an adventure, whatever it may be. »
Another challenge now awaits Morgane: the title of Miss Small Beauty France, for which she will be opposed to 13 other misses, from other regions of France. The ceremony is scheduled for Saturday November 26, 2022 in Comblessac, Brittany.
